LEADERG INC. successfully developed “one-tip two-leaf” image analysis algorithm for its future tea-plucking robots.

The traditional “one-tip two-leaf” method means selecting and plucking a terminal bud along with two young leaves.  Technically, the more buds included in a can of tea, the better will the end result taste. Therefore in the past, to produced high-end tea, the delicate process of tea-plucking needed to be done by hand—machine-plucked tea usually resulted in much more damaged leaves and quality-reduced tea.

Now, with the latest invention of LEADERG INC. image analysis algorithm, a new generation of cost-effective “tea-plucking robots” seems to be on the horizon.
