This module is a travel translator designed for phones. It supports more than 70 languages, handy for ordering food, asking for directions, shopping, and getting around when traveling abroad. The panel has two tabs. Listen Mode helps you understand what others say: pick a target language to the right of Translated transcript, press Start Listening and allow microphone access, and Live Translate shows the original transcript and the translated transcript as people speak; the Copy Original and Copy Translation buttons next to the titles copy the whole text. Speak Mode helps you say what you want: pick the source language to the right of Original text (it defaults to the site language), and the target language to the right of Translated text defaults to English; type in the original text box, or press Dictation Microphone and speak, then press it again to stop and the recognized text is added to the original text; press Translate to have the site's default model translate it, then press Pronounce to have TTS read the translation aloud. Switching tabs automatically stops listening, and on a phone listening also stops automatically when the browser moves to the background, the screen locks, or the browser is closed.
