ASIMO is a human-like robot developed and designed by Honda. It can walk, run, and even open a bottle. It's an easy task for people. For robot, it means ASIMO has a great sensors, including its 2 camera eyes and the force sensors in hands which make the robot tell what kind of the objects ASIMO holds and how much it weighs.
ASIMO' s acronym is Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility. ASIMO stands 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 110 lbs. However, its battery still doesn't last around 40 minutes. With passion of helping those who lack the mobility, the developers dedicate the humanoid research.
