The panda robot is designed and manufactured by LEADERG intern who is also working on this project with an ambitious team of Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering (BIME) at National Taiwan University. The panda robot project is sponsored by the Taipei Zoo. The goal is to aid Yuan Yuan, the mother panda, in learning how to take care of her newborn cub Yuan Zhai (圓仔, which means Yuan's child. By the time this text is published, there will still be a naming contest for her name).
